How to update ------------- 1. Download correct firmware from Blickfeld.com 2. Click on the firmware button in the menu (see :ref:`Webgui-Dashboard`). The current firmware version should be displayed 3. Click on "Firmware Update" 4. Select the firmware file downloaded in step 1 Firmware will be installed and the device will reboot. .. _Webgui-Network-Configuration: Configuration ============= Network ------- In the WebGUI you can change the network configuration of the device. For an explanation of the network configuration, see: :ref:`Network-Configuration` Set hostname ~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1. Click the "Configuration" button in the menu (see :ref:`Webgui-Dashboard`). 2. Choose "Network" in the submenu (Click on General, which should already be selected) 3. Change the hostname to the desired hostname 4. Click on "Set hostname" 5. Reboot device Set IPv4 network mode ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1. Click on the "Configuration" button in the menu (see :ref:`Webgui-Dashboard`). 2. Choose "Network" in the submenu 3. Click on "IPv4" 4. Change network mode to desired mode 5. If static is used, enter IP address and subnet mask (see: :ref:`Network-Configuration`) 6. Change the values (The WebGUI will check the values and provide feedback if the values are not allowed.) 5. Click on "Save and Set" Save scan pattern ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1. Add a unique name for the scan pattern in the "Name" field. (If you select a previously used name it will overwrite the old scan pattern) 2. Click on "Save" Load scan pattern ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1. Click on a previously saved scan pattern in the dropdown menu 2. Click on the "Send to device" button.
